Scarlet

When Scarlet gets into trouble at school, her mum gets so angry, she sends her to Ireland to live with her dad, even though she had promised not to. Scarlet doesn't like it at first but then she gets interested in a local boy Kian and his black horse Midnight. When Scarlets stepmother Clare falls off a ladder and goes into labour, Scarlet is so shocked and scared, that when her mum hears about it, she takes the first plane available and flies to Ireland, to Scarlet. Then she and Scarlet go back to living together.

The Girl with the Broken Wing

The girl with the broken wing is a truly good book. One night Amanda and James see an angel called Hilary, waiting to get inside their house. They let her in of course, thinking it is the angel. But then James says that angels don't SNORE. Amanda still thinks that Hilary is the angel because she has feathery wings like angels do. One day Hilary gets her duffel coat and goes to school even though James and Amanda say, she can't go to school like them, because she can't read. Hilary says she can only read pictures but Amanda and James don't know what she means. Its only when Hilary writes a note saying "I will be back" in pictures, they get the idea.

I recommend this book to people that like reading and also to starters as it has big letters and short chapters. 

Fairies and the Quest for Neverland

"Fairies and the Quest for Neverland" is the best book I've ever read. There are actually 3 parts about fairies. Well, the big books at least.
The first part is called "Fairy Dust and the Quest for the Egg", when a giant storm hits Fairy Haven (or Pixie Hollow if anyone prefers) and destroys Mother Doves Egg - source of all magic. The second part is called "Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand", when a mermaid demands a wand or else she will send out a flood. The fairies must go out in search for the wand to save Pixie Hollow from the flood. In this part - the third part - Gwendolyn Jane Mary Darling visits Pixie Hollow. She is delighted until she receives the news that Kyto the dragon has escaped and is learning how to fly. She is even more terrified when she discovers that Vidia is TEACHING him how to fly because she has fallen in love with him.
Great book for everyone who loves fairies.
